Quality Check
Fine, fuzzy, needle-shaped leaves with downy tips. The best comes from the high, misty mountains around Xinyang. Dry aroma should be fresh, never dull.
Common Scams
Non-Xinyang greens sold under the name. Machine-cut leaves lack the fine needle shape and downy tips.
